Value beyond the resource
Consider what can be produced, processed, packaged or supplied around an existing activity. The route to customers and the work needed to serve them are part of the opportunity.
Why Zimbabwe
Resources, people and enterprise. The opportunity lies in the connections between them.
Zimbabwe's investment story reaches from agricultural production and mineral resources to tourism, industry and the businesses that support them. Our focus is how those strengths can become useful products, reliable services and enterprises with a clear market.

The opportunity perspective
The vision in Invest Zimbabwe looks beyond a single resource. It asks what can be built around it, who can participate and how the resulting business reaches its customers.
Consider what can be produced, processed, packaged or supplied around an existing activity. The route to customers and the work needed to serve them are part of the opportunity.
Farms need equipment, storage and transport. Industry needs energy, maintenance and services. Visitor destinations need accommodation, food and experiences.
Local entrepreneurs, farmers, professionals and young people bring knowledge and initiative. Investment can connect those strengths with capital, technology and wider experience.
Domestic and regional customers form part of the enterprise vision. Each proposition needs its own market evidence, cost assumptions and practical route to buyers.

Ten provinces. One national platform.
Every province brings a different combination of resources, people, enterprise and connections. Metropolitan commerce, industrial centres, farming areas, mining communities and visitor destinations each have their own role in Zimbabwe’s productive economy.
The founding vision connects land, minerals, agriculture, people, industry, tourism, infrastructure and markets. Our provincial profiles help you understand those connections before examining a particular proposition.
Explore Zimbabwe’s provincesWhy work with us
Invest Zimbabwe brings structure to the conversation between an opportunity holder and the people who may help develop it. We start with the project, its evidence and the work still to be done.
An initial enquiry helps us understand your asset, idea or business, your relationship to it and the help you need. A complete feasibility study is not required simply to begin.
The aim is a clear proposition supported by evidence. Gaps become preparation tasks before a project is presented for investor assessment.
Set out the contribution sought, what it will fund and what the owner can contribute. Exploration, development and operating businesses need different conversations.
Project preparation, professional assessment, investor decisions and formal approvals each have their own role. Clear records show what has been reviewed and what still needs action.
A considered starting point. Initial eligibility review is free. Where diagnostic or preparation work is appropriate, its scope and any payment arrangement are agreed separately. Cases prepared elsewhere can be considered for review without automatically purchasing preparation services.

Sector themes are a starting point. Each specific proposition must be considered on its own authority, commercial case, constraints and readiness. An introduction creates room for assessment; finance and formal approvals depend on their own decisions.
